ABSTRACT
Spontaneous esophageal rupture carries high morbidity and mortality. The main prognostic factor is early diagnosis, before 12 hours, and appropriate treatment. This is a case report of a 41-years-old man with late esophageal rupture diagnosis treated successfully with transmediatinal esophagectomy and esophageal-gastric tube cervical anastomosis.

Os autores relatam o caso de um paciente com schwannoma do nervo hipoglosso confirmado por estudo histopatológico, descrevem as características da lesão, suas manifestações clínicas e aspectos de imagem, e apresentam breve revisão da literatura relevante.
The authors present a case of a patient with hypoglossal schwannoma confirmed by histopathological examination, describe the characteristics of lesion, clinical manifestations, imaging findings, and review the relevant literature.
